Mandarintalker is operated by 长沙乐知考拉教育科技有限公司, which is responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

When you submit the assessment, we collect:

• Your name
• Your Chinese level, main learning goal and preferred learning format
• Your city or time zone, weekly study time, preferred start time and lesson time preferences (for group courses: the days and time slots you can attend and whether you can wait for a group)
• Your preferred contact method and the WhatsApp number, email address or WeChat ID you provide
• Basic website context: the page you arrived from, which course button you used and campaign tags in the link (if any)

The website context is kept in your browser only for the current visit and is sent to us only together with your assessment.

We use your information to understand your learning needs, recommend a suitable course or group, and contact you through the channel you chose. Submitting the assessment does not enroll you, charge a deposit or place you on a waitlist.

Your assessment is saved in our private website database, which is not publicly accessible. When a new assessment is received, an internal email notification containing your answers is sent to our team so we can follow up.

We use these service providers:

• Lovable Cloud: hosts the website database that stores assessment submissions. The main database is located in the United States.
• Lovable's built-in email service: sends the internal notification about each new assessment to our team.
• Google (Gmail): receives and handles our enquiry emails, including internal notifications and messages you send to us.

These providers may process information in other locations as part of their services.

We do not sell your information. We do not take payments on this website.

For enquiries that do not lead to enrolment, we review whether your information is still needed six months after our last substantive communication with you. We delete information that is no longer needed. If continued retention is necessary, we record the reason and the next review date.

If there is no further communication after you submit the assessment, the six months start from the date you submitted it. Internal note or status updates, and reminders that receive no reply, do not restart this period.

Course records for enrolled students are managed separately and are not covered by this review.
